Virtually guarnteed when you look at their federations race controlling. With the strong southerly wind they could have libbed at 1pm and they still would be home nae probs
Not smart, but can see your defeated before you even basket a bird! If you do what you've always done you'll get what you always got. Nobody said pigeon racing is easy into your side, but maybe your strategy is wrong.
Pentland Hills doing 40-41 mph, ave 70% returns from Selby 173 miles. First time this season facing a head wind fairly sorts them out. Personally timed 21/42 within the hour before clocks but they came in one's after that. Hopeless at picking the poolers this weekend as the midweek Newark pigeons came in reverse order today. I'm sure if any of the Otterburn/ Lanarkshire Federation flyers want a race from Newark next week we could accomodate them.
They were 11th and 12th in the final race and the hen was runner up ace pigeon. They came from Kuwaiti oil tycoons so no expense spared on stock. No brainer really.
Worth a try. I bought my Kuwaiti pair "Petrol & Diesel" from the Welsh one loft auction of 2005. They've bred winners every year and quite a few thousand quid as well. They cost me £550 each at the time.
