Well Andy, I've got to defend the race controller as we (Pentland Fed) were the first Federation in the sky yesterday as the English feds above us were waiting on us getting past them. Speaking to the majority of fanciers there is only the odd bird (1,2,3)missing across the federation. Looking at your results this year I would say your loft isn't yet in form and this could be the reason for your losses. I noticed Henrik has losses too, but he didn't send any last week! Could be the reason, also inexperienced yearlings, (not raced as young birds) or late breds seem to be the majority missing. Also you can't expect them to hit the loft all together at 170 miles nowadays with BOPS etc. Just spoke to our race controller this second and he says you've to go to the market today and buy a big Fecking mirror.
