  3. Approx. 1,950 birds were liberated from brechin at 11:00,broken cloud sunshine and a fresh south/south east wind.birds cleared site very well.GOOD LUCK TO ALL.

  7. Totally agree batches of birds hit by peregrine scatter and will fly hundreds yes hundreds of miles in opposite direction,no wander they dont return.

As i say to davy every week our main concern is a decent lib with blue sky visible to birds.Every lib this year they have had this and cleared sites quickly,it dosent seem to matter now whether 60mls or 460mls every race is a marathon for a lot of birds through no fault of their own.Have you ever seen the like waiting all day for birds to return from brechin,most birds should be at your loft within an hour of your first arival,doesnt happen anymore.
  10. On a day of good visability,broken cloud and sun at liberation why were returns slow and drawn out.I anticipated winning birds doing 45mph.With no question of clashing being an option,why such a funny race?
  11. Approx 1,400 birds were liberated from Thornton at 08:00.Broken cloud,sunshine and no wind.Birds cleared racepoint very well with no disruption(bop)GOOD LUCK TO ALL.
  12. FACT.pair at stirling hill south of peterhead,pair at St.fergus gas terminal north of peterhead,THEY'VE got us surrounded,pair at collieston,Aberdeen city,dont know how many pairs,pair at belhelvie quarry,pair at stonehaven,from norh to south this is approx 30mls.

  14. North Of Scotland Federation Brechin Liberation Approx.1,950 birds were liberated at 12:15.Broken cloud,sunshine and very light east wind.Birds cleared immediatly.GOOD LUCK TO ALL.
  15. 1st north sec.9th open Newbury 2003,3rd north sec.40th open Tours 2011,both late breds,i think they need 10 maybe 12 tosses in year of birth and raced to approx.250mls as yearlings.
  16. It just makes you wander even more what happened that day.I have only heard of 5 birds that have made it in the north.Some fanciers have said they think the birds have headed in a westerly direction over ireland.

Over the past fortnight my mate has had 3 out of his 5 Messac doos return under their own steam.His 1st had been injured but the gash had healed and feathers had started to grow back,his second 2 are skeletons,Ive had 1/4 returned in a box from Penzance.are there any more birds returning by their own,have you had? or have you heard of?

  22. We really have to do something and very quickly,these fekin things are breeding and producing more fekers.in my opinion these things are KILLING a lot more birds than we realise,and they will be the death of sport
