I can understand how this may affect our birds and this maybe the reason for birds taking longer to clear racepoints but if the birds were left to their own devices they would eventually clear and return home.IMO when the birds struggle to get their bearings and are hanging around in big batches their being hit,those things can spot prey from miles away.
unsung hero's of war.Our pigeons have a major factor on where we are now.They don't get the recognition they deserve.The birds we fly today are descendants of the birds that saved this country,yet we get people who try to protect and promote a bird that is killing the bird that we as a country should be so grateful too.
SORRY for the delay had problem accessing the forum. Approx. 1,800 birds were liberated at 14:00hrs. Broken cloud, sunshine and a light North wind. Birds cleared well away North in one batch. GOOD LUCK.
