all depends what your after sprint middle or long distance

don't race in a club only race for fed honours and national

maybe take first 3 timed in club but all birds with a chance of getting into the fed result should be in the result

what distance u hoping to fly them

actually i think u are wrong think about it the more experienced or better fancier as u say it knows his birds he dont panic them when they trap that why he can get them to trap well week after week now u take the less experienced fancier chasing his birds grabbing them well there not going to come in are they so if he gets a early bird it not going to cum in belive or belive it not i dont want it for that reason trapping birds well is as much of an art form as racing i only race up to 200 mile going further this year ok but how many races are on won on the trap from races up to 200 mile when in my area we often had results with 15 seconds covering top 20 and that with out ets what i would i like to see happen in club racing only 3 results per fancer so a fancier can take 1 2 3 that it but all of fanicers top birds going to the fed result as the fed result should show a true result at the end of the day it is a competition sport we cant all be winners what i have said before in big clubs with lots of members there should be a league system where say 30 members in a club 3 leagues 3 go up 3 come down ure right its not fair that a new commer is racing against a seasonal professional and lets face it that the way it is now as regards cost I'm sure a club sale members put up birds make up a few tickets sponsors things like this can bring cost down a bit
