i don't know about this site but sometimes if u change the format of the photo it helps just make a copy of the photo and change the format

have said this before too it makes a mockery of the rules legally going by the rules this is wrong as bird not confined in loft its a mad rule best of luck with season wouldn't it be easier just to have the rule saying that the pad has to with in the 4 walls of the loft i.e trapping systems and averys are loft extensions and so should not have pad in them would this rule or something worded a little better clear up any confusion

i think most will be surprised at the speeds in which a pigeon reaches when we hear of speeds of pigeons pigeons doing over 60 mile an hour or faster even it will be even going faster as no pigeon flies in a dead straight line home also id imagine a lot will be suriped on the line of flight that birds actually use :-/

i do like your thoughts on how u are going about the whole thing one thing i would advise against is them feeding in fields and feed them in the loft as this will make them tamer if u catch them for any reason maybe a health issue could come up in the future also with Fielding its easier for bops to catch them also i don't know what pesticides they use in Canada but id imagine some of them wouldn't be great for birds but i do like your dedication on wanting things right and your loft design from what i can see looks very good to handle a few pairs i can see a few whites looking very good flying in and out of there

my own thoughts on the subject is if i could obtain a pair like this i would race there young in mind to win distance races as i dont think they would be as successful at sprint racing in a real hot federation as i do belive in horses for courses and from seeing some posts here about saying distance is king well i don't belive in that as its everyone to there own each type of race or pigeon has there own attributes which makes them succeed just because its not your cup of tea does not mean its second rate racing and about homing ability i think the good ones all have it weather that be sprint or distance one of the best distance flyers i know he accedes at races over 450 mile told me every few year he will bring in a sprint bird into the stock loft as he thinks there homing ability must be as good if not better as his thoughts on it well if u take a real hot sprint racing federation well if a bird leaves his line of flight nearlly at all its race over so they have to keep a real good line to win races so there homing ability must be good

have gave a few chances only had 1 or 2 that returned the favour where ever they were all that time i feel if they pass over it again they will go down also u dont know what the bird is carrying

hi gangster fine post this whole thread needs to be shut down in my opinion but before it is u seem to be the man who probably knows the most about these birds i could be wrong of course but could u explain a little about the strain and how he has developed the birds think we know that roland janssens seem to be the main strain in the birds my question is did he keep them pure or cross them a lot

well wouldent pll be better to go to roland so also the roland janssens over here have not been a compete success there all over britain the last few year and i dont see many pll wining week in week out with them jmo
