I was given flagyl tablets to take away the pain etc, 400mg they were & they worked terrific. PS, I have a few stored away now ;D ;D, just in case etc. Enjoy.

John !!!!!!!, there are a lot worse things etc, which you could give your birds. Now !!!!!!!, if you can purchase it in the powder form & not the capsules etc it will be much cheaper (like I do ) for the birds & your pocket, especially in the breeding season is best in my view. It's popular ;D ;D ;D (womans business) but I use it for thrush/canker, teaspoon to 2 litres, 1 to 3 days, if I think I may have a problem & it works ok for what I have found. Enjoy.

Rose, this is why I like this site so much, good general information, one could say which is given out freely. In 1995 I travelled from one side of the country to the other here (No small distance) to buy a few imports for the first time etc (4) & to this day, I still remember what the bloke said to me back then when I handed over my money ;D ;D ;D for one of them. He was a Wildermish cock (I know it's the wrong spelling) ;), but thats my way. Anyway !!!!!! he said you can have that one cheap $150 it's only a sprint pigeon etc 150miles (rubbish sort of thing) :) . from Bertie Fletcher of Ireland, down from the Crack hen by it's pedigree. 10 thousand pound was paid for it I believe, (Nice to have money) "LOL" Oh to be rich also ;D ;D ;D. Now the funny thing is, he never bred me any sprint pigeons of any note, but some real cracker distance pigeons sort off, when they had to push into the wind for 10 or 12 hours etc. So to me, it is just is another example etc that you never really know what might just turn up if your lucky, in this game.
