No never !!!!!!!! I use it in the summer period etc when the weather is rather hot here, so the lofts drys out quite quickly, before I let the birds back in. Thou !!!!!!!! :P the lofts certainly have a smell to them, I can tell you in all honesty. But then ???????? the birds have never told me etc what they think. Enjoy.

To true I'm afraid ;) some may remember my little cock I mentioned here recently, who I found on top of the loft from a toss with 2 broken legs etc. Being Dr Death !!!!!!!! "PMSL" in most of these situations I'm afraid I somehow took pity on him (Stock potenial) & patched him up to the best of my ability ;D ;D ;D so he was always going to do it tough :'( :'( :'(. But as Jimm said, leave it to the experts ?????????? if you wish a 100% recovery etc in this type situation. Because, thou my little fella :P is flying with the best of them now, he is somewhat lop sided I'm afraid. Enjoy.

If my memory is correct ????????? ;D ;D ;D I seem to remember somehow on the internet etc, one bird turning up after 10 or 11 years after being lost in a race, & strange but true ;) it was a local from just down the road !!!!!!!!!! sort of. Enjoy.

Welcome aboard Blueslady, they are a lovely little type bird etc that you are keen to have in your yard, so all the best in the new adventure. Now !!!!!!! forget all the grumpy men here, thou no doubt the will give some good advise to you most times :P . Do I take it ??????? your suggesting here now, they are a bit tight in relation to what they do with their birds etc. Let me tell you now in all honesty ;D ;D ;D the ones that I've come across down here unfortunately !!!!!!!!!!, have to throw the old methods out with the bath water somewhat, when they try our style of racing. Now Jimm ;D ;D ;D, The old mealy cock & sir colin etc without a doubt have been wonderful pigeons & your very fortunate to have had the pleasure & enjoyment in racing these types of birds in your loft. But just let me say if you had happened to have raced them down here in your time, at the end of the day you would be :'( :'( :'( :'( looking at the empty perches if I know anything. Another thing :) , all you blokes complaining & somewhat mystified with the heavy losses this year, in your local area etc over there. Let me tell you "PMSL" your not on your own. The biggest local fed 35000+ rings sold are devastated with their losses here at the moment & they have only just got to 300 miles (Sort off) & they had to change the scheduled race points, to stop them all being slaughted even at that distance etc. They are all happy chappy's ;D ;D ;D when they get the wind up there a*se but when it turns in there face like it has been here, most are in total shock, with whats sitting on the perch etc on saturday night sadly :'( :'( :'(. Enough said !!!!!!!!, but its another header coming up again this saturday. Enjoy.

Seeing as your one of the rich brigade etc ;) the first thing I would do is, buy an electronic clock for race day etc (Worth there weight in gold) ;D ;D ;D & keep everything very basic & also only feed once a day. PS, & that's coming from another retired plumber I'm afraid. But I was one of the poor ones unfortunately :'( :'( :'(. Enjoy.

Well !!!!!!!!! what can I really say ;D ;D ;D I just couldn't afford to buy all the eggs required at my place etc. Mine are tree hoppers :'( :'( :'(. Tennis ball on a string type thing is my suggesting (much cheaper) & it works just fine. Then again ???????? 10 hours into a head wind, usaully gets them down & in pretty quick ;) . Enjoy.

Correct !!!!!!!!, one of the greatest/best families of birds I've ever seen in my time were the Harrisons etc & they quite often threw up mosiacs at times over the years here (100) from when they were first imported around 1907/8 by Max Foy, from George Harrison of Oakamoor Staffs (Where ever that is) ;) & the hen of his no 1 pair etc was a mosaic. Now !!!!!!!! For all you purists "LMFAO" 2 traits which they were well known for etc, even today. Are, 1 - Weak backs & 2 - Wide tails, so there you go & make of it, what you may ;D ;D ;D. Enjoy.
