Gift birds etc every time. Spend the first 2 years just learning the basics of the sport. By then !!!!!!!!!!! with a bit of luck, you will/should have made friends with one or two decent flyers in your local area as such. Then ????????, with their help if you so desire, you could spend your hard earned money on better quality birds etc. Enjoy & always remember now (grin grin), most of us had to crawl before we could walk.

(most of the time) but I haven't been too impressed etc, with what's being going on of late here unfortunately (P*ss poor, is all I can say) & you wouldn't think that it was xmas, not by a long shot. Absolute No No Josh, as far as I'm concerned in my view. The purpose of having a pigeon loft etc, is to have something which is safe & healthy for the birds. Now having a bath inside the loft on a regular basis etc, does not fit that criteria. for what little I know. With a small amount of effort etc you could build a small sputnick with a mesh floor, then you & your birds would both be better off, at least in my view. Enjoy.

15 !!!!!!!!!!!!!! the bloody falcons would take that many here. where do you live now "I'm shifting quicksmart" as long as you dont have any of that snow & slush etc. Year in year out, it's 130 rings is what I buy & hook or by crook if I want any extra one will be going in the bin, so I can have the ring for its replacement. Nice topic etc & some great stories above, one may say. For me !!!!!!!!!!!!! my brother 1st had them for 2 years, then lost interest etc & took up bugerygars (Shocking !!!!!!!!!!, wouldn't have a clue how to spell that one). Anyway, I then stepped up to the plate fool that I'm & took over with the pigeons, that was in 1956. Now for some strange reason ?????????? I'm as confused & bewildered now/today, as I was back then, so if someone can help me. "Please do". Enjoy.

My personal opinion RCH for what it's worth etc, is your being rather a bit harsh on poor old/young IB. Many medications/tonics, which have been used on our birds over the years, have only come about through trail & error by pigeon fanciers (Science & Vet's, can only take you so far) looking for a better way at the time. Some work, some dont, very few of them will actually kill your pigeons thou, for what I have found in my time & if at the end of the day etc you just happen to learn something new & also become somewhat wiser in the sport I would suggest now, you then, finish up a winner in my view. Now IB !!!!!!!!!!!! stick at it & when you find the magic potion etc, thinking the way that you do. Tell me about it (grin grin) & bugger the rest of them here. Enjoy.
