My own wife takes more than a passing interest in the birds and has a fantastic way with them,also and having known a woman who kept and raced pigeons on her own, for some strange reason I believe birds respond better to a woman,cant really say why,if its their demeanour,or manner or what,birds appear to more approachable,more at ease,calmer, pity really that there are not more women involved,especially at the top tables,think Sport would be a lot better for it.

If some of those Rangers players were to take a dope test,after that game to day no doubt they would pass it ;)

The probability is hen was carrying too much internal"fat"which resulted in egg when being passed pressing against nerve,causing a temporary paralysis in legs,she will be okay for rest of egg laying for season,but watch her feed,as some birds tend to put on weight quite easily,they are like ourselves in this respect L.O.L. Again just my opinion.

I can vouch for what Les says,having used and seen it work,you might reconsider and repeat it again Les,the more that does this,the more this problem will diminish.

This sometimes occurs if hen is overweight when laying first egg,egg presses against a nerve resulting in loss of use in legs,should be right before second egg is laid,calcium levels are fine if egg shell is good.

Ireland are definitely in pole position now,with Wales if they beat Scotland to day to supply their stiffest opposition,the Irish pack murdered the French pack yesterday,if the full back Kearney and O Gara had their kicking boots on it,it would have been easier,England appear to be down,need time to rebuild,the Italians were poor,Scotland are capable of causing a surprise on any day,but would lack consistency,with the French now smarting after yesterdays defeat,and are capable of thumping any of the others when they play them,and will still have a big say in things yet,think it may be Ireland's year.

The question that should be asked is it good for the advancement of the sport of pigeon racing,not abouts its merits,or about who will/do use it,but the effect it has/will have on an already dwindling membership,this I think is the bigger picture

Its a new one on me Wayne,but its best for performance and control when landed if crop is empty.

You are not "cutting" back feed ,you are possibily overfeeding,if you are intending to fly them in morning they should have been fed this morning,but good luck with them anyway.

You have nothing to apologize or be sorry for Chris,try keep 24 hrs between feeds,and when flying ,observe which bird is first to land on roof,remove it,when leaving out next time make noise 2 x 1 bang on flat board to lift them,see how that goes,keep fantails out of sight when flying rollers

For flying,you might be beter off using a Race Bird depurative,how often do you feed them
