Good Post Budgie,but in fairness I do think 98% for a decent flyer's loft may be somewhat liberal figures,while it gets down to basic winners,then the figure of 98% may have some relevance,but considering there can only be one of these in every race,it doesn't mean that non winners are rubbish,as for aged stock for sale,again there are many factors to be considered,as for a prepotent pair,it often just requires the right matching,and often such a mating can even be accidental,but all in all if I have a pair throwing good race birds,they stay until they stop doing so,or their demise,whichever comes first
