Wouldn't like it if when I basketed Widowers to see too much aggression from them,aggression in loft/re nest box/o k,but when in race basket,inclined to burn off too much energy,rather the silent type,think they tend to be too aggressive if confined to widower boxes too much.

I have also had birds from Alan (Albear) and like Roland am more than satisfied with them,would have no hesitation in going for more ,only sadly haven't got room,but to any one who is looking for decent birds from a totally honest and successsful fancier,go for them.

Good Post Budgie,but in fairness I do think 98% for a decent flyer's loft may be somewhat liberal figures,while it gets down to basic winners,then the figure of 98% may have some relevance,but considering there can only be one of these in every race,it doesn't mean that non winners are rubbish,as for aged stock for sale,again there are many factors to be considered,as for a prepotent pair,it often just requires the right matching,and often such a mating can even be accidental,but all in all if I have a pair throwing good race birds,they stay until they stop doing so,or their demise,whichever comes first

This was it seems to me a bigger and better Show than previous years,had the pleasure and misfortune of meeting Gangster young Mikey and Micko,from Basics,pleasure being that the crack was great,very nice guys,misfortune being they ate all my grub,these two could cause a famine in a smaller country,also presented Micko with a bag of Dilisk,when I asked for some later politely told"No get your own,you Indian Giver"lovely to meet you lads,look forward to the next occasion,hope the winds have died down before you get on that Ferry Gangster. ;D ;D ;D Naw I don't really ;D ;D ;D

Age in Stock Birds still doing his duties and producing healthy youngsters is significant proof that its constitution is sound,something we should strive for when selecting pigeons is its constitution,basic good health,mine would be based on Old Sires and Young Dams,mostly related,and occasionally the opposite,and then only with a certain purpose in mind.

Whats the opinion of the members,as to the many great birds that raced in/ into Wales say over the last forty years,reasons for same,and the bird they would like to have owned,lets not get het up about it now lads,its just a bit of fun.

Ted Its a type of seaweed you pick on rocks,an dry in Sun,turns a soft leathery,you chew on it,sea salty taste full of minerals,down this end of the Country we call it Dillesk,shorelines are full of it,also Cockles and Periwinkles

My opinion would be the husband and wife partnership of John & Pat Webber of Abertillery who have had a fantastic season,even by their own high standards, they would be the best racing loft in Wales this seson and congratulations to both.
