I am lucky enough to have contacted the three people who's lots i wanted although this has ended up costing the charity moneyas my money will know go to the breeders. One of the lots i was willing to go to £150 for as i knew the pigeon i wanted from him ended up going for £65 and the winning bidder at £65 had a proxy bid of £200 - Yes i wouldnt have not got the bird but it still cost the charity £85 with me bidding to my limit. There is a lot of unanwsered questions here, which in fairness to donators,bidders (winners and losers) and the birdstall site need to be anwsered.

RSPCA were at melton as inspectors - They dont care about pigeons as they are not something the public have affection for and as such not something the public would donate towards saving. Drown a cat though and watch them at you lol

True i know at Melton the Indian community snap alot of the pigeons up to curry and dont care for the welfare breaking wings etc when basketing. Sorry but true stopping cruelty is near enough impossible especially with pigeons which most including the RSPCA consider vermin.

Well its actually three as i sent some nestboxes the other week - i Mentioned the state of the van but the fronts and half the boxes ended up being lost in transit - The only reason i never chased it up was after hearing its like getting blood from a stone.

I know who it is CV I sent them away last week as they never rang before arriving (through elimar) thankfully i did as it seems they in the same period have lost your pigeon and also another bird which i know was sold for decent money through the site. Elimar now also use Flying courier and i now insist that Les books them instead of Coopers.
