  1. Blythy who has posted just above Paolo has pigeons from all of Ian's best birds and he dont hurt the pocket.
  2. www.longdistancepigeons.co.uk
  3. Have a word with Paul Wooliss on here - From what i have seen of his birds they look very good with the results at the distances to match - will find his website for you in one second.

    xmus race

    Whos its open to ?
  6. You will just have to come to Old Comrades then Your friend Mr Bills was introduced to the membership at the Dome to say he got a lukewarm welcome may be generous
  7. Not going to Bridlington as cant understand why they would have it the same day as the NEHU show :-/ Although wont make it to the NEHU one either as have people coming to view some Delbars
  8. Had a good day at the Doncaster Dome, not sure it is much better than last year but still a decent day out. Went along with Steve Stoker and also spent the day with Blythy it was a pleasure to meet several members from the two forums namely Tommy Silverdale, Cottage lofts and pjc - meeting these people made the day much more enjoyable. Thought overall the quality of the birds for sale was poor (not all) especially liked the show racers crosses being sold as Delbars and Jan Theelen's lol ;D > Roll on the Old Comrades
  9. We are going as im working there again. If i dont have to deliver birds there i think we will head down on the Tuesday and take some loft visits in on the way
  10. Think John Gerard has them ( i think!!!)

I have said endless times on the phone i wont use them - I have to refund a member for some nest boxes as they misplaced half the bloody things, so now i would rather wait for a courier that i know is good than one i dont have confidence in. I hope the bird ends up where it belongs but tell the chap he is welcome to a couple from the cock when paired to your hen - its not the same but will maybe someway to making up for the loss.

Hope you get it sorted Frank and hope somewhere along the line both you or the buyer dont end up out of pocket - Disgraceful!
  13. Good look selling her Tyskes - She sounds good value to me and i would have happily bought her myself based on performance alone. If you want pedigree forms dont bother paying for them pm your address and i will send you some for free as seem to have a filing cabinet full of blanks .
  14. Spot on all this is doing nothing more than bring a negative atmosphere to the site and going further to prove people right in their opinion that the site is going down hill. Not everyone is going to get on but with this being over the internet its very easy to ignore those that you dont like or want to interact with.
  15. I will chase the ring number up today and put a name to it.
  16. I can anwser this one for Fair Play - If it is the bird in question then its bred by Ian Axe with original Ian Axe Pedigree as the only third party involved is myself.
  17. Was that from my Theelen cock FP ?
  18. Your right Duncan When Amtrack were on the go it was a straight choice for us of Amtrack or AM Deliveries, so when they decided originally to call it a day (about three weeks before amtrack went) myself and another forum member managed to talk Mike into giving it a go for a bit longer. I have not heard from them for a long time but since they took on the Massarella job i am not suprised (big fish & small fish thing) although i did get him quite a busy job of moving all the birds for Geoff Clare of Clares Pet products - I can only imagine that they simply took too much work on without actually having the resources and cashflow to complete the operation. All the best to Mike though was a decent chap and i hope rather than the business going bust that they actually decided they didnt want the hassle.

    mac1 yb swap

Put me down Mac Not fussed with regards to distance - I hope i get as good as i had this year though - The birds were a credit to Ferry and Taff and a pleasure to race.
  21. Exact reason i would rather burn money than give to the RSPCA - I reported Cruelty on a dog twice they never even bothered - A neighbour ended up taking it off them
  22. Well done Superstar - True credit

    cooper logistics

To Ireland mate you cant beat John Miller. He has never let us down yet and dont charge the Earth either, although he is on holday for two weeks now. He is delivering to 6 fanciers in Ireland for me the week he gets back.
  24. A local fancier had alot of them before packing in. Sure he is in the North East, the chap local flew very well with them on the south road. Not sure if its the same bloke but if so always looked very nice birds to me if he hadnt wanted such inflated prices when he sold up i may have took a few myself (my mate that is not J Duncan)
  25. Thanks, A fancier from Canada has bought some birds that originate from his blood and wanted some info on him Thanks again
