Its defo a commercial world, i spoke to a fancier from Holland a week or two back and decided i wanted to try 4 young birds straight from the nest to race - the figure i got quoted was bonkers - needless to say i wont be bothering no disrespect to them but i set myself a limit and then stick to it. With regards to corn Chairman - if i couldnt get a decent corn to feed my birds for £13 let alone £18 i would be keeping 4 pairs for pleasure and making the bag last 6 months!

I can happily send you 5 -6 pictures of my ets traps - it wouldnt take a lot to knock something similar up and alot cheaper than buying a commercial one.

I am happy with my suppliers but the idea in general must be worth looking at for you. I dont see a problem with your 3% and £36,000 a year - thats your business. I get made redundant from my main job on New years day morning, the new job i take on is hourly rate plus commission on top and i wouldnt do it for less than 10% - (Maybe im just greedy though) All the best with whatever you do
