The case with this blacklisted member is closed as far as the admin and mods are concerned - We are actively keeping an eye on the situation with regards to new accounts and hope you will do the same and if you see anything suspect please give admin or mods a PM.

Thunderboult did the work on this one. I went on the log to look after his suggestion so wouldnt have picked up on it till later. Well done TB.

The admin control panel within this site contains many different logs one of which is a Log that tells us every time a member logs in and out of there account - This also logs the IP address of every such log in etc (and exact time) I spend quite a bit of time in this log so dual accounts are normally picked up on quite quickly.

I have spent the last hour looking at several posts - Some of these have led me to be concerned about occurences on the site whilst i have been offline. The most disturbing for me was the request of a second member of the forum to be removed due to the Moderators of the site and what they practice. I would like to make it clear that the Moderators of the site (and Admin) will not get things right all the time however all the site owners ask for is that we all (Moderators and Admin) try our best for the site and to continue a succesful upkeep of the site - The site isnt the biggest and best dedicated Racing Pigeon forum in the world for nothing!!! On this note the site moderators have my 100% backing on the work they do for the site - They do it for free and without any form of benefit whatso ever and deserve applause and credit for this work not abuse and blackmail. For this reason anyone who wishes to be removed from the site due to the Moderators please drop me a PM and this will be done amicably - Those who have requested it over the last 24 hours - This will be actioned over the next few hours. Im not having a go at anyone but please read the paragraph above that i have highlighted in red - I feel its time this divide between admin/mods and members was eradicated - We all come on for the same reason and if we all fight the same corner maybe we have a chance to sort some of the bigger problems in the sport out.

I made the decision earlier today that in my view Old Yellow made the correct call in taking the original thread off in the best interests of the site and as such the thread in question was not going to be re-instated. Les was informed of this decision via PM and told in future if he felt a moderator had removed a thread without justifiable reason to either PM the moderator in question or a member of the site admin and it would be assesed and a final decision made. This thread like the other four placed on the site since the original thread was removed has gone on for long enough now and will be locked. I will be talking to ALL parties involved about this and as far as im concerned the line is drawn under it now.

What is said is said and the Mods have given a good account for the reasons they feel the thread was removed to the private boards. Les has made his point that he is leaving the forum and as such the thread can now be locked. Anyone wanting to exchange details with Les can do so via the site PM feature.

Thanks The E-blah forum is very scarce most of the time so no point asking about it now. I have emailed the chap who does all my work on the other site as he is one of the designers of these forums but i dont envisage a reply before i go to my pit so it maybe a case of waiting till tomorrow.

Mick requested to leave the forum and despite efforts from myself and another Mod he wouldnt change his mind so he was removed. Hopefully after taking the break he wants we will see the return of 'The most Westerly fancier in Europe'

I noiticed it several months ago and will try to amend it now but have the feeling the problem is lying in a file i cant gain access to.

He is defo good and know he works on a network with Brian so they can cover most of the UK.
