has you will see brians new to keeping pigeons, also i was asking brian if he intended getting racing pigeons , having answered brians request for a pair of fantails ,i obliged by giving brian a pair for free ,who seem delighted with the birds given,i also offered my hand of friendship by offering him free pigeons if he decided to ever start racing pigeons in the future ,and i think this sport could do with as many new members as possible

mainly the female sparrowhawk kills pigeons be it woodpigeon or racing pigeon its the quality and richness of food its after ,yes ive seen them kill magpies before ive seen them catch young rabbits.it always seems to be the female who attacks the larger birds and the male the little birds, you only have to work out how many birds a pair will kill each season and you wonder why we have no songbirds about thats not including the 12,000 pairs peregrines on these shores

will breed you a pair off me ghost buster for free if you want them,next season is your pere/saker light or dark phase put a picture up ,

sparrowhawks are killing machines especially the female.the hit with speed and power will take anything out if it thinks it can kill it

yeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssss spot on roland maggie devastated this country now we are seeing the effects of her torie goverments actions,schools in melt down uneducated kids crime out of control prisons over crowded nhs in melt down pit villages like ghost towns buy your own home we got you where we want you low wages ,so you got to keep your mouth shut or your out a job lose your home, or we will get it off you when your old and ill to look after you whilst they are making millions ,after they closed all the old peoples homes closed all the mental hospitals pits etc now just think back only a couple of years ,the biggest threat to this goverment been brought down was by a bloke moaning at the price of fuel .the country nearly came to a stand still a few more days the goverment would have gone in my opinion.now wheres that bloke now the price has rocketed i have not seen him saying its now a £1.00 a litre for diesel . i wonder why ? now global warming will be the next big thing to cause concern to the british working man we all thought the poll tax was a very unjust tax .well just wait till they hit us with this lot and listern to the dribble of sxxx they come out with . we have three main parties in this country and all have the same policies all talk the same sxxx so wheres the change by changing the goverment "if you could vote to make a change" "voting would be illegal"

my birds not for sale never has been for sale ;D its parents are the shop cock and streeter hen who came down from the great pair the bridge cock and fielder hen who also had three legs . these birds where fantastic flyers could spot a chip on the floor a mile away. ;D .its now living a happy life on the school roof ,its hen the one toe hen was killed this year getting grit off the road . it never seen the speeding car :'( so if anyones got another three legged pigeon im intrested must have pedigree ;D

frank In high humidity areas the ceiling and walls of the pigeon loft must be lined if consistent racing results are to be enjoyed. Masonite and wood are better insulators than metal. The best floor for racing is made of wood (form ply or marine ply) because it is a good insulator, stays warm, and is smooth for effective scraping. It can be unscrewed and replaced with wired floors during the off season if required. Wood floors are harder to disinfect. Concrete floors are not recommended in the race loft because they are cold and retain moisture, but they are good for the breeding loft and can be used for the race loft if they are centrally heated. In high humidity areas wire floors are not recommended for racing because the droppings beneath the wire accumulate moisture and grow fungus, which causes moulding disease. They are acceptable in dry areas and during the breeding season, but must be treated for fungus and insects regularly. ;D ;D
