i only race my birds 275 miles ,dont want to seem rude but never heard of stuart wilcox yes both eyes i posted are cocks ,though the second eye is the better pigeon both have bred winners but the second eye was also a racing machine for me and he breeds winners ever year for me ,a young lad has this season won four first prizes with his sons and grand sons flying old birds in his second season and hes only ten .

im not into eye sign though like you its the clock that tells me my good pigeons,but i must admit i love looking at their eyes though i know nothing about eyes. the eyes you posted look beauties to me .i think theres something magical looking into a pigeons eyes i love to see the lines and different things you see there and i always come out the loft wondering is that a good eye.

are these eyes distance or sprint eyes ,or what was the best distance for this pigeon you raced.

Thank You for your reply i have macro on my digital camera its a 2 mega pixel .i will try what you said the pictures where my first go .think i might need a new camera .what size mega pixel would you advise

could someone please tell me how to take good pictures of my pigeons eyes ,i am not into eye sign each to there own ,but i want to place a picture of their eyes on their racing pedigree to keep for future reference. i have posted two p[ictures as you can see very poor pictures and do not look anything like the real eyes ,ive seen some lovely eye sign pictures posted and wondered how to take them thank you
