i would like some advice on my best w-hood hen first picture ,she as won many eye sign classes but she as nearly killed a eye sign judge when i gave her to him to look at next season i will be pairing her to this cock will this eye go with hers to breed good young birds ;D she as now been banned from the clubs shows :'(

i was on about the man been a winner .no bird can gaurentee you winners but thats what i think make some people winners and others also rans . a good pigeonman will win more then most with 100% dedication than those who play at it and never learn . i cannot understand people constantly buying birds because of names or fashions top pigeonmen make familys out of their birds .i would take winners out of a established loft for stock if there all winners though no guarentee of success its down to the man to condition and motivate the pigeon to win along with good pigeons thats what makes a winner thats the man i would buy pigeons from someone who wins on a regular basis not someone who once won a race.who also wins against thousands there the pigeons to buy .theres some fantastic pigeomen over here yet everyone seems to want to buy foreign birds for large amounts of money when you could buy a great little team from a top pigeonman over here .

all you people who have had dealings with this person is now time to stand up and be counted help dovescot out . sadly has i said in another post dovescot these people know how to rip people off and how to make a complaint against a innocent man of course the police will investigate such serious claims and so they should but sadly its your word against theirs thats why they make such serious claims making themselfs the victims instead of them been the robbers. as for taking him to court forget it mate will cost you too much . sadly you have been had as they say once bitten twice shy

good programme using them to see liferafts even through fog.i also believe birds can see ultra violet light which would make it they could see colour, put a peanut in a clear glass jar and a tic bean in another they go for the peanut everytime.

i only take two rounds off my pigeons unless there been given to club mates or friends .but then i only keep twenty young birds ,i suppose it will depend how many pairs of stock birds you keep or how many young birds you want .

i dont buy pigeons ,and i wouldnt buy them from locals ,i would buy from a top pigeoman who as won for years and make a family out of them.i think people are too quick to keep buying in pigeons without trying the ones they got dont go for pigeons with bits of paper they win you nothing ,go for winners from a small loft not mob flyers .winners will always be winners. mark walton guisborough

the way there handled is the most important thing .my birds dont seem bothered been picked up on a daily basis either for training or racing i always say you could play football in my loft there not bothered . ive seen birds in lofts you would need a net to get near them. i think its down to the person looking after the birds that counts happy content birds are not scared by their owners , ive never seen a top fanciers birds crashing round the loft when you enter.

always try feed a good balanced mixed diet to your birds ,wheat can lead to making the droppings wet barley not a lover of the stuff never used oats but i know a fancier who uses them alot . if you are running out of corn all the time try feeding less or cut your birds down .less birds less food .
