if they was only one bid at eight surley that should win it , was they two bids at eight by restarting the bidding it will go to the person willing to pay the most ,but infact might not be the person who won the bid at eight :-/

then it would be down to the vendor to with draw the lot and re sell the pigeon ,or sell it to the one who bid first :-/

well sorry once a CHEAT always A CHEAT. we have for months been on about untrustworthy people like coxy ripping poeple off ,then you find out other people CHEAT on a online show ,have we not been asking for information on people like him. well sorry webmaster we should be told who these CHEATS are ,like we should be advised when people sell pigeons who are trying to CON people out of their hard earned cash.

agree totally how can the shows now be justified ,will the winner be seen has a cheat by some people ,myself i will not cast my vote ,but sadly these shows have in my eyes lost all credabillity due to people who want to CHEAT. WEBMASTER should NAME AND SHAME THEM AND BAN THEM FROM ENTERING ANY OTHER SHOWS

thats the way name and shame ,name they use and the name they signed on with to cheat .

personally i dont buy into the idea someone trys to cheat for a joke ,the cheat to win ,if this is the case whats the point of having the shows

i say name and shame them ,then you know who you could be dealing with ,and ban them from showing again on here .the site runs these shows for a bit of fun as requested by members on here ,but sadly this will stop people entering pigeons for the shows when you have people with the personality disorder of numerous names to cheat . totally agree with paul on this one ,i also ask myself do these people go to any lenghts when racing to cheat GET A LIFE

keep it simple dont have to many birds enjoy what you have dedicationand hard work 365 days a year

reading this thread i had been reading doves about OLDGUY , i can understand people getting upset when you are questioning there honesty and motives for wanting the birds ,when he stated it was for his five year old daughter . what if he is not in a club but still wants them for his daughter ,i would have no problem helping this man for his daughter ,possible fancier of the future that this sport needs . a novice has to start some where ,when i lent my entire stock team to a young nine year old who could not afford pigeons ,was greatly received in the club as he would not win anything ,untill he started taking them to the cleaners then can you believe a member didnt want him taking any monies out the club he won ,because he was to young to gamble. we have seen arguments on here latley for calling it a sport ,by sportsman take people has you find them ,lets not treat everyone as coxy paul yes i know you have helped members out on here so have many other fanciers and i applaud you for doing so ,but lets not get into a situation of police state demanding twenty questions when asking for help .has some people can find this offensive espeacilywhen they wanted information where to PURCHASE birds if you dont want to help ignore the request

genuine fanciers will help out any pigeon fancier if its for racing or they just want to keep some birds . i find it sad that anyone requiring help be it birds or selling seem to get a hard time , OLDGUY asking to buy logans for his daughter ,whats the problem hes asking to buy not scrounge them .yet he has to run the gauntlet of being interegated for wanting logans the most popular white breed on these shores for years . the solution to help anybody wanting help is to ask them privatley if you have any doubts give them nothing . now if someone asks me for a pigeon for his five year old daughter whats the problem ,its yes or no ,i dont have to give a pedigree for the bird ,i dont have to say its a good bird it will breed you hundreds of winners ,its a pigeon and a pigeon viewed has worthless to the owner or he would not be giving it away. when people ask for pigeons if you do not want to give dont answer ,they will go else where or direct them to the bhw or rp where they can buy pigeons .

yes they where several attemps to destroy these birds on MOD land ,thats why the MOD protected them has they do other birds on there land .yes he was a clown giving a open invitation for some *expletive removed* to shoot them

brian ive seen people sold these owls who had no idea ,what they where buying , i rescued two that where kept in a rabbit hutch for five years ,in total darkness responsible people . i always get asked to sell me female snowy for big money NO CHANCE ,i would have liked to have seen a female turn up on the shetlands last year two lonely males ,hopefully this year might bring a female .

yes it was a captive bred bird north allerton also had one. if i remmeber right it was terrorising everyone not sure if thats the one they caught using a lurcher tied to a post .people try fly these birds in displays thats why they lose them ,and if it isnt hungary it aint coming back .

i would also like to see breeding of these birds made illegal ,or only done under liscence ,as like pigeons if theres a pound to be made someone somewhere will sell you one . i have had a few requests from people on here for eagle owls ,would it be responsible of me to give or sell one of these to them .when they have no idea whats involved to look after one of these or was it just to release i wonder .

duncan i have studied these owls on MOD LAND and it was a dead certainty once shown to the public harm would come to them ,i still cannot understand why this pair where brought to the publics attention ,for some *expletive removed* to go and shoot the female FACT, yes i myself would like to see them protected as british wild birds ,but sadlt i dont think this would ever come about ,due to people who seem to think they know what there doing by releasing these birds into the wild have no idea about the bird its habbits etc ,i have personally rescued over two hundred of these poor birds only to be destroyed brought about by harry potter and responsible parents thinking there kids can have and train these beautiful birds .
