Phoned the 2 places I usually get them from Galloway & McLeod are a tenner a bag noo but they have them on special this month so £9 a bag just now Smillies in strathaven have them them at £9.50 both are 20 kilo bags Some difference from being able to get 3 bags for under £20 2 or 3 yrs ago

i agree with Kirky but if the hens are too fat split them fae the cocks and gie them nothing but water with multivits in it and defo no grub for 5 days then handle them again and you will see different pigeons that certainly wont be too fat to lay Done it myself a few times with stock hens and it never fails and does them no harm either....
