Just started using hormoform again for the first time in years. Problem is the birds just wont touch it i have even cut the feed in half to try and get them to take it. Every one i know round here uses it and the birds cant seem to get enough of it. Anyone had the same problem and how did you solve it ? michael.

Have been paired about 10 days. I only wanted to breed of one pair in the race loft and yes you guessed it the hen was the only one to be beaten to a pulp. She was scalped down the back of her neck this after a couple of days together when they were fine. Sods law when its the one you want to bread off.

I voted before 12 as i was given pigeons for my 12th birthday from my dad but i had been helping him with pigeons since i was about 6. Even helped in the basket shed on a race night when i was about 8. They had me marking how many birds into each basket untill they trusted me to handel and ring the birds. michael.

I personaly let the pairs out one at a time for the first week usualy changing the pair thats out twice a day. The second week of pairing i let two pairs out at a time and keep up this process untill i am satisfied that they are all keeping to there own boxes. It usually works but i still get the odd one that works him self trying to take a extra box.

Dont know how many breeds are mostly white but i have had busharts all white and dordin and roland jannsen. As for performances i have only tried the busharts up to now as i have just purchased the other breeds. The busharts i had did not do much but i know of a fancier that topped the fed with one a few years back. michael.

My sat nav works with up to 12 satalites you can see how many you are recieving on the screen. You can switch screens to a section that gives your longitude and latitude. This is suposed to be accurate upto a couple of meters. michael.

Checked mine 2 year ago with my sat nav discovered that i was 50 yards into a wheat field under a electricity pillon. Brought it up at the local meeting and was laughed at. Sat nav usualy gets me within a few yards of any address i put into it so should not be that far out. :-/

I have 10 pairs at the moment the most i have ever had. Mainly because i have 2 pairs on loan and just purchased another 4 pairs this year all my young bird team will be bred from stock this year. The other stock i have have all bred multiple club winners so i cannot part with them. michael.

I use pigeon pellets all the time. This only seems to happen since i switched to belgium grit a couple of year ago and only with my late bred hens. :-/ Have been to get some kilpatriks grit today and i will try some of the other suggestions. Only started thinking about it because this year i purchased 7 late bred birds for stock and plan on taking the bulk of my young bird team from them.
