Lost one last year, away for three months came back and was the best bird to the loft as a yearling flew her out to Leicester
  8. I think that post to numpty 1 is totally negative and out of order - why because he had the audacity to make a statement of fact all organisations should be transparent look at the furore with the expenses scandal in government and everyone keeps asking why the RPRA is not more transparent today its the "name of the game" not that I infer there is anything shady going on it's just that if people are involved they have an entitlement to know who the committee is and who is accountable for what. I still think it is an excellent idea and more power to it but let us know what is happening not just on a "Need to know basis" Once againg "Good Luck"

If I dont at least get my money back I will contact the bank to see what recourse I have, not a lot of money it's the principal maybe they think they are part of the Government and "Steal" the publics cash

  15. Not only are there "National" birds racing there are also the Fed birds a lot of which will not be able to complete the Fed program but I agree with letting the birds away as I would rather have them flying than confined to a crate from Thursday until Monday even Tuesday The controller made a decision based on current information and rightly or wrongly he tried to give the birds an even chance. North of Scotland last week scorching sunshine this week snowmen that's the "British" weather for you. :(

  24. We (Glasgow) were at Newark last week 4 back from 5 yearlings agree with what you said about the birds being thirsty one hen just walked about the top of the loft drinking water as it fell but felt it was a fairly good race. One hen jumped in at 250miles never been in a race, late, but felt it was encouraging for next year. Swithering what to do for Leicester BBC weather on TV forecast really hot for the weekend 22-25 up our end so make sure the drinkers are full
