The Golden Grizzles are stiil sought after especially in Germany.Thomas Peeters bought the Golden Grizzle hen which produced Champion Barcelona .the strain is apparent in Jos Thone's grizzles after all is Peeters not his father in law may be wrong but might be right.350 to 700 miles these birds will do if that is what you are looking for.

Pity it's a bit late as my son is due back tomorrow and it's approx 75 miles from Lemvig to Billund and he will be travelling from Arhus. Look on the bright side it's approx £85/95 return from Edinburgh to Billund depends how much the bird is worth to you.

I also live in the country and not so many years ago we would go up on the moors and cross through the field ducking and diving the Lapwing as we encroached their nesting area.
