Hi Guys, I hope someone can help. One of my racers only came back today with what I can only describe as a crop full of air. Is there something I can do for it? It does not look all that well. Its neck looks like it could be Mike Tyson. I have felt its crop and it definately air in its crop. Even under its chest. All help much appreciated. Thanks David

Old Yellow, I totally disagree. This is no family site. No family site would allow some of the derogertory remarks that have been allowed to stay in most posts. Some things are taken off but others are left standing because no one gives a damn!!!

Vic, Thanks for the advice but killing her is not an option for me. I have saved birds in the past and will continue to do so. I just feel that every pigeon should be given a chance. She is a very good bird and will carry on breeding good pigeons in the future. She only needs a chance.

I know a very flyer who diagnosed it for me. Apparently he has come accross is a lot so there was no doubt.

Hi Fox, I have been following a very good fanciers advice. One of the things he advised to get the pigeons back in to pop two peanuts in the nestbox before pigeons return. They will soon learn what is waiting for them when they get back. It has worked for me as I used to struggle getting them back in. Also if they dont come in then take the food away and dont feed them. The next day they will be first back and I am sure they sure they wont do it again. Hope this helps.

Hi, Flagyl is only obtainable with a prescription. How do I get hold of it short of the doctor looking at me really weird when I try to inform him I have thrush??

Hi Guys, I hope someone can help. I have a hen who seems to have a soft growth (getting bigger) in her abdoman. A fellow fancier told me a remedy yesterday but I have forgotten the name. He said it is canker in the abdomen and is easily treatable. But I cant seem to recall the name. Anybody have any ideas? Cheers David

Thats a bit cruel. Its a predator and it would suffer a slow death. I hope someone from Animal welfare does not see these posts!!! :-/
