Hi, Can anyone tell me how I would go about getting hold of some good quality birds that wont break the bank. It seems to me that if you want good birds to win you need to pay hundreds of pounds. Surely there must be a cheaper option. Thanks David

I have a pair now, gifted to me and could not for the life of me find any information on them. I raced the cock this year as a yearling and he did not do too bad. I am hoping he will do better next. Thanks for the info guys.

Guys, I have a problem. First off when I reported the pigeon to guy and told him it was in poor condition he asked me if I could dispose of it (understandably) but I dont kill birds (just not my nature). I told him I would keep it for a couple of days and feed and water it. I then let it go yesterday but this bird wont clear off. I have phoned the guy to let him know the bird is still here and he told me it would clear off eventually. It comes in when I let my out. I just dont want the guy to think that I want to keep it and I am lying to him. Can anybody advise me?

I hope so too. It was an impulse buy and I will probably pay for it myself, serves me right I guess.

The thing is Dovescote is that it is new, its never been used. All I have done it treat the wood, the rest of the time its just stood there as a garden ornament.

I have thought of E-bay but I dont think I would get my money back from e-bay. Things usually go for bargain price on there and I would rather keep it than lose money on it.

I think its because the buyer has to collect. Its too big for me to transport. My new loft is coming this week so I need it gone but if isn't I probably just disasemble it and store it. :-/
