  1. I may have identified 3 possible sites, i will have a quick look after work tomorrow. If they are potentially suitable i will get gogle earth co ordinates for you to look. If this works here is the potential sites:
  2. Aycliffe site is a large ish carpark, however is not great for libs due to parked HGV. The industrial estate is massive, if someone drove round they could probably find a decent location. The place we showed the drivers earlier year is now blocked off.
  3. Birds cleared very quickly, and went in the right direction hope you alll had a good race. Dave
  4. Thanks for the info. Which one prints a space for pools. I suppose it would be just a matter of getting use to what it does. Dave
  5. What kind of problems, and which system? We havent decided on what to use/buy yet. Dave
  6. You may be a genuine pigeon man, I dont know you. I didnt say that you or any one else wasnt. All that i stated was that a genuine pigeon man has helped out. Dave
  7. Problem hopefully now sorted thanks to a genuine pigeon man.
  8. > So if you send 10 birds then you need a reserve fund of £300 to collect birds that have been blown of course. Assuming that all 10 were in different locations? : Highly unlikely, but possible. Oh my God what would we do if it was over the water!! £3000
  9. Anyway enough bitching, can someone help out. Please.
  10. If it was only £12.50 we all would have birds picked up. I suggested trying to get someone to pick up if possible, as the transporter is coming to Aycliffe. I had one put on the unc transporter from Northumberland to Sappers corner, which is about 8 miles away, and it cost £3 but it was worth it. Even if it cost that or £12.50 to put it on a transporter it would get a lot of birds home.
  11. This member was working until recently, and was laid off. Good old Flymo, if people can`t cut the grass he can`t make the machines. He`s on benefits of £50 per week, not everyone is that fortunate. He only breeds what he can afford to keep. Just aswell he doesnt have kids or Defra might visit. He doesnt drink either but will help anyone he can. If nobody can collect on his behalf to put on a transporter, the only other option is let it go, be free little pigeon be free. or do the end of season thing for birds that are not wanted. Doubt this lady would do that!

  13. Hi is any one from the Mid Lothian Fed, I believe that they are due to lib from Aycliffe this weekend. A member of our club (currently unemployed and cannot afford the £30 amtrak) at Aycliffe has had a YB reported, from Fife. We would be over the moon if someone could pick the bird up and send it down to Aycliffe on the Mid Lothian Transporter. If anyone is available and kind enough to do this I will give them the address/ telephone number. Regards Dave
