  18. likewise ive had a few in this year and have through pigeon basics & shu managed to have them reclaimed, but 2 were reported and still i have heard nothing both were highlands & islands birds, so i fed them up & made sure they were fit enough and travelled about 80 odd miles up the road & released them, its a sad state of affairs when fanciers dont reclaim them because of £20 £30 for a courier if they grudge that then maybe its time thay took up another past time/hobby/sport??
  19. not a good sign, but, i once had a bird that showed that sort of symtoms and feared the worst even knowing they all had been vaccinated against " para " took it to the vet & after a check up it was discovered the bird had a wee splinter of wood at the top of its crop bottom of neck and that it was causing a lot of pain while bending neck to eat and drink and it was componsating by turning the head/neck to the side?? after the offending splinter was remove she was back to her old self within a few days, shes now 13 and still producing not all so doom & gloom as it first looks
