  1. anyone on the north road i would say easily in excess of 50mph?? lads on the south road i think 40mph at a push?? somewhere in the mid eleven hundreds for a velocity will be there or there abouts here i think??

  8. up in buckie, morayshire its pouring rain and low cloud, visibility is poor too,very mild though. any birds still making their way home will do well to make it through this???
  9. its an all to familiar scene up here in morayshire, watch crows scaring the young starlings sparrows etc that are learning to fly out of hedges then attack kill & eat them, had a crow come into my loft a few years back & attacked one of my youngsters and he would wait on a post until the loft was open, i got him in the end but they are clever birds and are prepaired to bide their time to get their prey as it were?? also watch the seagulls taking smaller birds out of the sky & eating them?? and ive not mentiond the dreaded B.O.P s yet

  11. im 130 miles approx east of you on shell platform ( shearwater) and its lovely n sunny here with a light south easterly wind, long may it continue
  12. i have a 13 y/o arie visser hen still going strong and producing,she won peterborough (370 miles) for me as a 7 y/o bought from mick osborne (leicester)1997, raced her till she was 7 y/o
  13. i am on the shearwater platform 130 miles east of dundee and up to now we have had no birds reported here over the weekend thankfully, at present on here the weather is sunshine and visibility 10 knotical miles plus and 20 knot northerly wind 16 degrees

  16. raining in buckie, moray coast, has been since yesterday evening, but not so heavy now, hopefully the birds that didnt make it last night will make it today??

  21. for me i prefer this site by a country mile, only thing i dont like is the dam google advert colum down the right hand side of the page!! bloody pest of a thing?? gripe over, like other members have said everyone to their own, pretty much all our clubs in our fed with the exception of one post their results here and for me working offshore i can see how the clubs are doing result wise without phoning half the fed to get sketchy race results!! god send for me

  23. we are at ripon 2morrow with the north of scotland federation, does not look good for sat for flying north,but basketing as normal, you never know the forecasts have been known to be wrong in the past noticing quite a few feds basketing for a sunday lib got 21 away
