Respect what you're saying there but I'm afraid if they've no been on a result then I'm sure we widnae be keepin them full stop, never mind for showing. If they cannae compete in racing then they're no good to us, that is the main reason we keep them. Showing them for us is for a bit of fun/ socialising but against birds of the same calibre, no against something that has been sitting getting pampered in a shed all year. Only my opinion of course

I heard that flown certificates mean nothing these days as anyone can get them signed, that's why I suggested that if your racer has been on a result then that at least shows it's a proven racer, as stated earlier, most clubs have a weekly result

I agree it should be something to look into, maybe if the racer has been on a result shows it has tried, rather than just accept a flown certificate

Are you saying then that the winner didn't deserve the win then Brian? Bearing in mind that the same exhibitor had another two firsts from different judges. Looked a crackin doo to me, just wished I'd asked to handle it when I got the chance
