  1. Was talkin tae John the other day aboot eyesign, telt me e bred a youngster few years back wi the best eyesign e'd ever seen. Fell doon a neighbours chimney ;D ;D ;D Hope this helps to make yer mind up
  2. 500miles divided by 2 = 250miles in my book = sprint racing not distance Even if a distance doo sets off earlier than a sprint doo pretty sure the sprint doo'll get home first from that distance
  3. I know the B.O.P. situation, I've seen it time n time again as I drive that road regulary as I quoted earlier on this post supporting you guys!! You have a bee in your bonnet regarding getting the birds up first thing in the morning which I agree with to a point, if it's okay then let them go. But if it isn't then you can't liberate so why keep going on about it????? I'm sure everything is taken into consideration regarding the libs and okay things don't always go to plan but the majority of the birds have to be considered not just the North birds!! Once again remember, the longest SNFC race was won last year in Aberdeen for the first time ever, that's a great start and maybe just a wee taste of things to come for you guys
  4. I would agree if they could get them up early then fine as long as they're no just gettin chucked up for the sake o keepin the north guys happy, but it's ludicrous to suggest that if they don't go up early to hold them till one o'clock as it is then not a distance race as it becomes two sprint races which then suits different birds
  5. ;D ;D ;D
  6. ;D ;D ;D Am pretty sure it's no only the lack o light that's the cause o them no gettin liberated, nae matter how many generators ye buy fae BnQ ;D
  7. Dinnae be daft, we'd end up wi spinters like yours competing then ;D ;D ;D
  8. This is starting to sound like " The west birds have got it tougher than the east" I'm pretty sure the birds are liberated at the earliest opportunity taking EVERYTHING into consideration. You're making it sound now as if it's late libs just to spite you guys up north which i'm sure deep down you realise is untrue :-/

  11. Was hoping the same thing that food would be scarce for them and the numbers would go down, but I've nae doubt the numpties fae the RSPB be makin sure there's plenty grub fir them >
  12. Correct!!! We can all talk about B.O.P.'s, wind direction, how good West/East birds are, what line they take not to mention the little bit of luck they need as well. As you say it's a physical impossibility for everything to be even. Best thing to do is enjoy the racing, do the best you can for them, set them up to the best of your ability, pay yer money n get them in there n start prayin, hopefuly ye'll get yer reward if no there's always next time
  13. Was reading this quite seriously till the last bit ;D ;D ;D

  22. Aye one o the mysteries Stuart, maybe just followers wi naeplace tae go after the leader left them :-/
  23. ;D ;D ;D We need the birds to get a wee bit o a test, no sprint hame like yours ;D
  24. This is a true statement apart from one wee thing, you guys are under the impression that all the birds come up the East, but the majority of our National birds come in from our West :-/ Ah well, back tae the drawin board
