Owen, what exactly is your intention should you find that the way Your birds are transported is detrimental to their well being?? I ask because i am at a loss as to what can actually be done if the Money is not available to make the changes you find are required to improve Your birds situation.

Grizzle Pied doo with the above number is picking around in Coatbridge town centre. Been close up to it a d though my eye sight aint what it was I'm pretty sure there is no letter on the ring. I don't get the BHW these days but it beggars my belief that anyone would write in to a magazine about a subject they have little or no knowledge of, sorry Owen but you've more or less said that in your own posts, but it's beyond me. If you wanted to start a debate on it why write into a magazine??? In 2005 i was having the season of my life and was standing with Aldo waiting on the doos coming from Lille, everyone and their granny had told me i was Crazy not to pool this White Saddleback Ck, who had won Maidstone a fortnight earlier beating this Cheq Ck that i was convinced would win the Lille race. When the Cheq Ck hit the loft first i could have burst into tears and if Aldo wasn't there i probably would have, he won a full season's accumulator and all pools. I named that Ck "Told You So" because of the hype leading up to the race. He was the G/Sire to my 1st Section Ypres hen but that day he came far out done winning the Section for me because he confirmed my total belief in him.

Has to be said Wullie McDonald's doos were first class, and worthy winners of the Several tickets he got.

Does anyone know where i can find a Clean, well decorated, friendly warm hotel that is more than the 2 star rubbish i keep landing in?? I don't go on summer holiday's and would like somewhere with a bit of class about it, to stay on my number 1 Break of my year?? Money disnae matter however QUALITY does!!!

Up to 500mls I would send a yearling if it was on good form. Farther than that I would be less inclined to send yearlings, Over 500mls I would favour 2yr old or older. Jmo.

I find that too, especially when on their last couple of flights. My lot are out whenever possible and they are only flying for 10 or 15 mins at a time which disnae rteally concern me. Handled a couple over the last week and they're in not bad shape for the show season, finding the time to get them to the shows is more difficult than getting them ready for them.

Me too, so i imagine everyone who entered last year will have received their's too. Am backshift that day, so will need to get something organised for picking my doos up at the end of the show, or get the day off which is highly unlikely

I wear one out of Respect for those who do a job that I myself could not do, and in sympathy for those left behind when their loved one's pay the ultimate price. The Scots Guards are right outside my Coatbridge office these last 2 days on a recruitment drive and tbh they don't appear to be attracting many to the trailer. Suppose the harsh reality that if you sign up just now you are liable to be in action before ye know it will be an obstacle too great for some young men and women to overcome and I can't critisise them for it. Without the 21 tabs I take every day I doubt I would be able to do it either Andy!! I'm motivated to get my niece through her driving lessons/test so that gives me focus and determination to get through Iit too. Like the doos, success comes After hard work but I'm running on empty just now so will be glad of some free time to put ma feet up at night. That's a myth Ian. Am poor as the church mouse lol
