    Hangovers

Been on the Malt 4 nights running and i'm officially dying now. Rattling is the understatement of the year. Gotta go and work in the Pub the night tae, the very thought is making me feel even worse.
  5. Wondering if any members can help me out getting a bird brought from Fife to Lanarkshire, or thereabouts?? Sooner the better would be great.
  6. Personally i think Sapper, Oldyellow, Andy Burgess and the other experienced Mods are the most sensible and informative members (myself EXCLUDED!!)
  7. I brought up the standard of Diploma's when i was on the SNFC committee, not that the ones they were giving out were poor but the birds Winning their sections got exactly the same type of diploma as the doos that were 10th or 50th section, just had a different sticker on the front of it with winning details. That lacks Class to me. Haven't seen this years so can't comment on them.
  8. Thanks for the good wishes guys, looking forward to my birthday bash in the Carousel tonight.
  9. Put 9 pairs together on Monday for one round of early bred Yb's then I will split them again, the rest will be paired up early March for natural Yb team.
  10. Tidied the thread up a wee bit. Cheers.
  11. Well done Dan nice one. I'll drop off a couple of rings in January Higgy!! Lol
  12. Same here in Lanarkshire, wind picking up by the hour. Can see some trees coming down if it continues to strengthen.

  14. No long in from staff Christmas night out and thought i'd share this one with you's before unconsciousness takes over!1! http://youtu.be/JPzgTH4z94U Heard this boy about 6 weeks ago and think he's a bit special. Ps. Sorry if there's an Ad at the start.
  15. Well done to all the winners, hope you's had a good night Jimmy.
  16. I think i would opt for Eddie Newcombe's Red Rock, i was fortunate enough to see him when i was just a boy of 11 or 12, he carried almost as much Black Splashes as Red and he could only hop from box to box to get around the loft by that time, left some impression on me so would opt for him.
  17. Lot 2 Plz Brian.

  19. Cheers for that mate, l will call him when I get in from work.
  20. This Yb came in to my loft on Sunday, any takers??
  21. Mandatory counts only legal when a fighter is knocked down. Groves could not defend himself and the Ref was right to stop the fight, or would we rather see another fighter ending up in a wheelchair because the ref wanted to give him "every chance" to survive. I'd rather see a re match than permanent damage to a fighters health. Jmo.
  22. At work in the bar but I won't be doing much during the fight !! Froch inside 6 rounds for me.
  23. Try this site. buy- vivastreet.co.uk/sell/Luton
  24. Hi Anthony, most smart phones will connect to your laptop in various formats. You will need to figure out how to attach it as a Camera, then the process of uploading pics is very straight forward. When you connect the USB cable from your phone to the laptop it would/should normally pop up telling you which format it is connected as, if not as a Camera, and it appears your's is not, then click on the "connect as camera" option and follow instructions from there. Good luck, John.
  25. I was not inferring to Your personal birds Owen, i was asking about Your Federation's or National organisation's birds. The reason for the question was quite simple. WE that is Lanarkshire Federation are absolutely delighted with the HUGE investment we have made in upgrading from the wicker baskets that require feeding to be scattered into the baskets to feed the birds whilst away for 2/3 day races. The problems in relation to that are imo not in the least bit concerning to us now and neither is the availability of water to the birds whilst in transit or situ at the race points. Our returns, especially in the Yb program where i would expect difficulties to show up quickest were quite simply tremendous this season, our first with the new Geraldy transporters, i myself started wit 32 and ended up with 25, very acceptable to me when comparing with previous seasons on the old transporters. I know a fancier who started with 92 Yb's this season and finished with 79. So my suggestion is that WE have things as good as they can get but you are clearly looking for improevments in Your area, which i applaud you for. None the less, this forum will not give you any more Facts than you started with and in that respect i agree with Gareth Rankin, this thread has run its course and should be put to bed until you have some more difinitive information to share with us. Sincerely i wish you ATVB in your venture and look forward to reading your final analysis when you reach it. Cheers John.
