    Training

Haven't had my lot in the basket yet, though with the houses all around being rough cast by the council they are sometimes on the wing for an hour or more, so they're fit enough to train, but the weather is rank so the baskets are still collecting dust. :emoticon-0156-rain:
  3. Busy day ahead tomorrow but looking forward to it. :emoticon-0157-sun:
  4. Well done Rab and thank you, do ye know he made out to me it was him that went for them and he never mentioned yer name wance!!
  5. I was tempted to cash out the bet early for £146 but decided to let it run as a draw would have paid me around £285. Did cash in my Doubles bets at £68 (£106 to let it run) and i had my 2 singles from Tuesday's draws so All wasn't lost. Thought Chelsea competed after the PSG opener but the full team failed to turn up for the second half. Still think Chelsea will win at home, not over confident they will qualify after letting in a third goal but its a funny pld game!!!
  6. :crying:
  7. Added them onto your original post Boab. :emoticon-0157-sun:
  8. I will continue to remove OFF TOPIC posts, should you wish to raise a point, start a new thread.
  9. Took a wee interest in the Champion's League Quarter final matches, took 3 draws in singles doubles and the treble. Man Utd, final score 1-1 Barcelona final score 1-1, waiting for Chelsea tomorrow and i'll have a nice wee line. :emoticon-0157-sun:
  10. I have removed OFF TOPIC posts. This thread is about training, perhaps you could clarify that George
  11. This is known as the Darkness system. The Yb's are only allowed 9 or 10 hours of natural daylight per day until the 21st of June. By doing this they will only moult their body feathers and will retain their flights thus enabling them to race the program with a full wing of feathers. Natural Yb's that are allowed daylight all summer will race with gaps in their wings as they will moult the wing flights before racing finishes. Hope that helps.
  12. Well Watty before ye start getting tapped up for Latebreds al book wan for the Fed sale in August :emoticon-0157-sun:
  13. Congratulations Brian I'm very pleased for you, no to mention Archie the Great Grandad :emoticon-0137-clapping:
  14. Tuesday the 8th George, then Wednesday Saturday Sunday and Tuesday Wednesday before the first race. It's not cast in stone but that is they are most likely days. WEATHER PERMITTING!!
  15. Very sad news Walter my thoughts are with all those closest to him. R.I.P. Paddy.
  16. It is with great sadness I inform the fancy that Alex Allison from Carnwath passed away today after a short illness. Alex was first and foremost a true Gentleman and a fantastic pigeon fancier on top. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him and my thoughts are very much with his family and friends at this dreadful time. R.I.P. Alex. John Quinn.
  17. Well done nice to get a wee turn, keeps the heart warm. I bet Holdem Spy to win it outright, figure its got the brains and speed to make up for what he lacks getting out the box.
  18. I just caught trap 1 in the last race at Newcastle @ 3/1, ALL BY MYSELF!! :emoticon-0140-rofl:
  19. lmao guid yin :emoticon-0137-clapping:
  20. Thanks Del, I would never have remembered it.
  21. Have to be honest and tell you it is a tipster I followed tonight. A girl in my work put me onto him and swore by him, her confidence was certainly justified.
  22. There is a product I seen at a fanciers loft last year, can't for the life of me recall its name but you put a drop into the pigeons Eye, then open its beak a few seconds later to see if it has reached its throat. The product is a Bright Red eye drop and it goes straight to the birds throat immediately after putting it in its eye if all is ok!! If there is a Respiratory problem the throat/mouth doesn't change colour. ;)
  23. Yer quick Peter i'll give ye that. Holdem Spy, bet at 4/6, returned 1/2. Farloe Nutter bet at 15/8, returned 2/1. Greenwell Lark, bet at 1/1 returnes 4/6 and Mileheight Alba bet at 1/1 returned 4/5. I Bottled another one that drifted to 4/1 and did it no get hammered on the books into 7/4 at the death and Flew in!!!! :emoticon-0179-headbang:
  24. 4 bets tonight in the Greyhound Derby and all 4 stoated in, my bet365 account is Bulging :emoticon-0123-party: Decided to keep them to myself this year after all the negative vibes last year. Glad I did too as it confirms my JINX suspicions about certain individuals :emoticon-0136-giggle:
