  7. For anyone who doesn't know, these birds are breaking records at Club level and are responsible for many many Fed trophies being won over the past few years, to different lofts and different levels of experienced fanciers at that, BARGAINS are certain to be got!!
  8. Thought gettin names wrong was exclusive to me Harry.
  9. Who's Frank, Gerry? lolol
  10. Needs a few MVG's or his like to bring the entertainment up to scratch, to many Old dogs in that tournament now. jmo The particular game i was watching they were both averaging 80.9, compare that to 105's etc in the other championship and it tells it's own story.
  11. Man Utd don't sack managers, they assist them to get the desired results Long Term, so imo Moyes has the safest job in football.
  12. I tried to watch some of it in the pub the other night but the standard/scoring is appalling compared to the other World Champ's so i switched it off. Doubt if i will watch any more of it.
  13. It is some years since losing my own father but I feel your pain accutely, may he rest in peace and I hope you and your family come to terms with your very sad loss and celebrate the years you's shared together. John.

  16. I wish!! must have spent/squandered 2 for tunes since then Jam, but i canny take it with me so spend spend spend is my motto, well with a wee bit tucked away in a shoe box
  17. Yes bang on John, taking into consideration of the down right STUPIDITY of those commenting on it!!
  18. Thanks guys, that's it settled i'm gonna treat myself to one when the sales kick in. Got enough Birthday cash to cover a 16gb one but am one for a bargain so will bide my time for another few weeks, Cheers.
  19. I have been promising myself an Ipad or other tablet to use for my work as humphing the laptop around is a pain in the back side. Do any members own and use these and what iyo is the best one on the market. Don't need one with loads of space as its only for e-mails, online shopping, and keeping up with PB forum, any feedback would be appreciated. Cheers John.
  20. I do understand that John, and am as frustrated as the next man at the falling birdages to the longest races but the hazzards the doos face these days before they are mature enough to be sent 600+ miles has more to do with the reduced numbers than the costs involved. As everyone knows i am ALL FOR joint libs and advocate it at every opportunity but the inland races were introduced to help cover the losses from the longest race and the Gold Cup, well that's what i understood it to be. In saying that i think joint convoying should be exclusive to Scottish organisations as going with the English and Irish would imo be disastrous for us, especially if there was East in the wind. These are OMO's no more or less. Plz excuse my ignorance but have the Irish and English already included Ypres in their programs in past seasons whilst we have been going?
  21. I am NOT taking a swipe at them John, never would either, as i know fine how easily it is to get crucified when only trying your best. Might not agree with decisions taken but most certainly wouldn't criticise those trying to do their best for us all. I simply think that we have the funds to do as we wish on our own, but that is jmo not a slight on the committee.
  22. Its no as if we're skint Stevie
  23. Hi John, i can see and believe in the sense of safety in numbers, but i doubt Very much there would be a reduction in costs, unless you are aware of info that i am not? We have convoyed to the longest race with other organisations in the past but the birdage was still the same and actually increased on occasion.
  24. IMO it'll matter not a jot when or where the program is set to take place from, the best men with the best birds who are blessed with the wee bit luck we all need will be at the fore again. Simples.
  25. Aye Andy, but that's the physical side of it, my head might take a bit longer tae get over the Horrors i've suffered over the last 48 hours!! Greed and stupidity are a bad mix and when i comes to a nice Malt i'm overcome by both
