  3. Got this doo in last night, any help with it??
  4. The hawk doesn't need to take them all, the doos only need to feel threatened by it to make off in any direction just to get away from the danger. I remember a few years ago, Budgie had a strike at the lofts, 11pm that night he got one reported in Edinburgh, at 7am the next morning he had one reported in Northern Ireland, says it all really.
  5. Canny keep a good man down, when your treatments finished you'll be like a 2yr old.
  6. Taking in the teeth as well, only 4/13, one this morning. No excuse for them, they were in good order going but were found wanting when asked the question.
  7. Agree with you there, it was a heavy sky, never good for doos, but a hodover was never an option, weather is getting worse fae here on!!!
  8. Cheers Frank, they got it tight, but my timer is fresh as paint, Usual story the eary doos are in graet order, John Whiteford & Fam are tn with a cracker at 13.12 hats off.
  9. Timed in at 13.36.08 with a 2yr old latebred hen. waited 'til 15.40 and 15.45 for my next times, thats ma tank fae 13, but they were all on the same regime, more or less, so they're just no good enough the day.
  10. Here one that represents me
  11. Gets the feet tappin every time
  12. Fancy the SNFC doos could be away for 5.30am.
  13. Abyss
  14. selfish
  15. . There is some truth in that, but to get the best out of them and prepare them to be good 2yr olds, you should race them as yearlings. I wouldn't keep them for stock but would breed from them. The best of them will still be there the next year to take more from.
  16. If you want to get heat into your doos, give them Red Band and Hemp Seeds, good as any far fetched remedies
  17. Hi Kristalina, welcome into our gang, look forward to getting your idea's on the sport in the forum. Don't be shy now
  18. Well i finally sent 13 to the race, 4, 2yr olds and 9 yearlings, or 9 hens and 4 Ck's, anyway they're in good condition and i'm looking forward to the race on Saturday
  19. Sounds to me that you over estimated the bird to start with. If a stiff 220mls, east wind or not, puts him in that state i'll bet you London to an Orange he goes down from across the channel!
  20. What are you slabbering now
  21. No long in from Newmains where i was marking the doos. We sent 704 birds out of the station. Night went well with little or no problems. :)
  22. YOU'LL BE BACK ON YOUR FEET BEFORE YOU KNOW IT. ALL THE BEST TOOSHY
  23. Had my race team out this morning for 3/4 of an hour. Home from work at 2.30pm, i'll give the birds a pick of my own mix, seeds, minerals and grits with kibbled peanuts and hormoform. Get them in the basket about 4.15pm then head to the club for marking. Andy McKEE and my self are in charge of the station so i've a lot of work to get done as well. The Newmains men are no shy though, so there'll be plenty of help i think. ALL THE BEST TO EVERYONE SENDING, AND WITH LUCK, SOMEONE ON BASICS WILL PULL OUT A TOP POSITION IN THEIR SECTION.
