None weaned yet but have rung 23 in the last 4 days most floated under foster parents from what i consider my best, with my second round eggs in the nest. Total will be 50 this year, i really MUST get my numbers down for next year.

Breeding 12 for a guy who is just starting up and i have gifted 7 to various sales. As much as i like donating birds to sales i don't want to be breeding too many from my team, my theory being you can only breed so many GOOD birds a year and might very well be parting with the best youngsters bred in the loft that season, if you give too many away, but overall i contribute when/where possible.

Just about sums him up.

Still chilly in Lanarkshire but blue skies/high clouds overhead, so should be a nice afternoon.
-
Ye i agree.

Tom done a great job at the presentation getting through the photo's in jig time, and i agree EVERY Fed should do the same for their members.
-
No doubt he is a Master at making his opponent miss or get clean punches but in this case i fancy the wee man might just do him, he hits from every angle with deadly accuracy. jmo

£50 Lot. 3. Thanks >>> Ian

My mate agrees with you that Mayweather would win, but i prefer Paquiao who i think would actually be able to land punches on Mayweather, unlike many many other fighters. atb.

I was on my best behaviour Rab, didnae have a drink until i done the Auction about 9pm, then i had a few doubles and a pint o guinness to slow me down on the whisky but i was picked up at 11.15 and carried my trophies ma self Even took my mates to him on the way home, no often i could have done that after a night out this year

Taking on board the comments about info on the winners, for next year we could have all the info printed and each member attending can get a copy at their table. It is unrealistic to read out every detail of every winner but this might help?? The top table plan was not to my liking either but i didnae let it spoil my night.

Great header of a CHEST

Just started Flagging mine, 30 mins morn and night to get them Fit to train, hopefully be ready this weekend coming but still plenty of time before the first race on April 23rd. My good mate Shug Harkin had his first toss 6 days before the first race last season, by the 3rd race he had won over 500 quid and he won the best average in the FED for races 1 to 7, (probably about 50,000 birds over the 7 races) so still plenty of time yet for me to get going

Aye it wid Alan, a classic if Mayweather didnae run!!!
-
Anyone we know Walter? and is she a pigeon fancier?
-
Ye canny accuse Paquiao of hand picking his opponents, to my knowledge he hasn't refused a fight in his career and it is him who wants this fight with Mayweather, but the Money man isnae gonna risk his unbeaten status, as he would surely lose this one. The Pacman is the most accurate puncher i've seen since Ali and he can put their lights out, as seen in the above photograph.

Well despite one or two things being out of our control (the mic situation) i think a good night was had by all, our guests, Norrie Marsden and Tom Ogilvie from Stirling, spoke very kindly of our Fed, in particular the birdage we race against each year and the quality of fancier required to win our Average trophies. Overall i think it was a good night and i hope the members think likewise. ATB. Ps. A VERY VERY well done to Budgie and his partner George Kelly on winning the combined average for the 3RD year running, a marvellous achievement by any standards, well done.

Got this pic last week, the crows are mobbing it out of the area. I feed the crows and so do my neighbours, best alarm system about

There were 96 going the other day, maybe hit the 100 since then. A good night is expected and the Trophies are organised and in our possession ready for tomorrow. I will be "working" until the Presentation is finished then its all the way to midnight

Well done that young man, and all his friends who put their lives on the line so we can sleep easier at night. You are rightly proud of your son Kevin and i hope he returns safe and sound to you when the fighting has stopped, ATB.

Steven Gerrard should have been named captain, he would have been my choice before Terry got it the first time. IMO, he is the best club captain in England and leads by example in games, like he did when Liverpool were 3 down in the Champions League final to Milan and came back to win the cup. Neither Ferdinand or Terry could have done that........ No i don't support Liverpool, in fact i'm a Man Utd fan but he is the best captain the English have.

Inclined to agree with you Alan.

1. It means i have a reason to get up every day and get my thinking cap on for the next day/month/year++. It means i have a haven away from the daily grind. It means peace and relaxation. 2. I enjoy EVERY aspect of keeping racers.....From deciding which pairs i will mate together, to seeing the youngsters grow in the nest, to watch them take small flights off the lofts for the first time and then starting them on the road to racing. To finally winning with the bird you have created, there is NO better feeling. I enjoy meeting fellow fanciers who are consistent with their birds, and getting their idea's on how to keep a team that perform year in year out.. 3. If i had to give them up i reckon my life without them would be so dull i'd be back in them again pretty sharpish, even as a loftman to another fancier, just so long as i could be around them and watch them return from racing.

I'll be racing natural throughout the season for the first time in years. I'll also be disciplined when giving the doos Ma Mix of seeds minerals grit etc etc, cos it disnae half bring them into condition when i give them it.
