  1. Hey yee's should see the state the Falcon is in Hope he picks up Brian, looks like he'll be ok and will be back on the road for you next season.
  2. Beginning to Look like Dougal could top the East Section this week, i've no heard any better velocities though i don't know the New Stevenson winners yet.
  3. Aye you've been flying well of late Jock Very best of luck in the Gold Cup next week.
  4. Cheers Andy, the Blue Ck on the nest was my timer from Marlborough and the photo i took no more than 5 minutes after he landed that day, think he'll have the most X's next to his number
  5. Where is the Huntingdon result for Camby this week??
  6. G W & P McAloney from Coatbridge. Budgie from this site has some exceptional Gabby's as well
  7. Think i'll have 4 at it, got a decision to make about another 2, so it could well be 6 by Thursday

  10. It is a Measure of those who let everyone down NOT a measure of this great site or the fanciers using it.SHAME ON THEM. Well done to over 100 fanciers who kept their word and made a fantastic sum of cash for the various VERY good causes
  11. Nice one Aldo, and ye didnae even need to be there when it came to win it either
  12. Very sad to hear this, Robert was a GIANT in Newmains club and Lanarkshire Fed. My sincerest condolences to all the Family and his many Lifelong friends in Newmains and surrounding area's. RIP.
  13. They have to suspend him for breaking SPECIFIC rules of the RPRA or produce a local Rule that has been RATIFIED by the RPRA as an acceptable reason for immediate suspension. If the club have done neither, and i suspect they won't have, then he should appeal immediately to the Fed.
  14. 3 X 1ST, 3 X 2ND AND TWICE 3rd from 8 races is great flying
  15. These are my 3 main candidates for Eastbourne, providing the 3rd Ck's hen returns today from Huntingdon. The first 2 were at Marlborough and will get 1 toss on gthe van this week before going. The Blue Pied could be the only yearling i send. The 3rd Ck was my timer today from Huntingdon
  16. Ordinarily if the dues are paid BEFORE the next AGM then he would not be suspended as it is only at the AGM a suspension can be passed.
  17. ATB Billy, i'll away up and get the rest organised for the day.
  18. Morning Billy, only 5 away too so we're in the same boat today. If John is in at 11.50 i'm sure we'll manage 11.40
  19. Home for 12.30pm at the LATEST John, jmo.
  20. I was tempted to pierce it with an injection needle to see if any poison or the like came out, but decided to leave it alone so long as the wee doo stays perky enough
  21. This is the Blue Pied hen i picked, still favouring her foot/leg.

    Liberations

Aye i think it was the correct decision Alan, its raining in Wishaw the now and its unlikely the doos would be home supposing we went at 6am. I for one have respect for and trust in Jim Hannah as controller and believe he Always makes Honest decisions based on the info he collects in on race days and of course the days leading up to Saturday.
  23. My inclination is to dispose of the bird but IT IS NOT SICK. No Canker in there or anything else for that matter. If it was a common illness of ANY kind i like to think i'm clued up enough to spot. Honestly, other than the swelling (primarily on Left side) the wee do is bang on so i'm reluctant to put it down without Knowing what is wrong with it. Going to the Vet is out of the question, i know more about doos than any of them around here.
  24. Never seen the likes of this before, anyone hazard a guess at a diagnosis??? The doo is eating handling and flying as normal, the swelling is Red under the feathers and i canny see any foreign objects either inside the mouth or outside. Big dose of the clap for the most plausible explanation
