My mate john has been training his youngsters had few hits but worked in well he has been training later at night They got split from 20 miles tonight watched them come racing high in one,s two,s and three,s until about 9 oclock He texted to say only 1 to come cooler at night and they want home before dark to perch well done john peregrine brought one of its young into town this morning at 9-45 made an awful noise following its mother My mate jim said he sat and watched them
  9. Englands lack of goals from open play against the top teams is the worry would play rashford every time before sterling and think walker is an accident waiting to happen thought the young lad from spurs with the double barrel name has been best player so far
  10. No problems my Friend there's no malice in any of your comments True what you say very good birds clocked and yes the east wind did help them at the home end and their crossing a strong sw would have been catastrophic Numbers wise is it now acceptable that 100 plus made the result over 2 days from 1000 plus I am sure the others were very good birds also No matter where we come from nowadays be it scottish english irish or welsh the returns are horrendous At this time of year when the young falcons are being trained our birds will be targeted the whole route regardless of direction Are there none in Europe ? Just look at yb losses already from 10 to 20 miles We will just have to accept the high losses as it aint going to change Well done on your good one again and all the best for the season Atb Mick

  19. Due to various circumstances this year I have young birds from my stock pigeons at various ages in the nest Also paired my race team and yearlings from my best pigeons which are sitting approx 10-12 days All priced at £30 per pair No pedigree provided but will keep records of breeding and owners can find out breeding once pigeons perform Youngsters would be distributed evenly giving prospective purchasers different bloodlines Anyone interested message me your details Many Thanks Michael Currie
  20. Well done Jimmy and Neil
  21. Walter good luck with wee jenna at the gold cup Having spoken to the late stefan van moabreke and other fanciers from belguim holland they stated if we did not liberate fridays from those racepoints it was suicidal due to the volume of dutch belguim french german pigeons all racing and crossing the route our small bunch would be trying to get out off atb

    Peregrine

Have been sitting at night with all the birds out together including my 20 youngsters Put them in back of 8 The hen falcon has came into the town nearly bang on 7-30 these last three nights This is a very large female she has one thing on her mind to circle high over the town without moving her wings then after 2-3 quick wing beats go into a stoop at over 100 miles per hour and level out to take her kill The young will be very close to joining her ,the ease at which she operates is frightening she has no rival This is by far the most dangerous time of the year for birds working through she operates very early morning and dusk which is her favourite due to lower temperatures Problem is thats only one not the other 16 nests nearby Her nest is 3 mls to the south and better gaurded than faslane

Agree 100% stuart Should be 15 for all races irrespective of distance I certainly would not fancy 20 staying in my house tonight in this heat So why should the birds be different ?? Top marks for the 15
