Walter ,A wonderful post what you have not stated because it is not in your nature to be attention seeking ,since becoming club secretary through your hard work in writing a new constitution we the club members were fortunate enough to receive new ets systems via lottery award ,also many other clubs the length and breadth of the country have also been successful using your constitution.At fed level since you took over the post of president every member now receives regular news letter updates informing them of any ongoings ,You have also been instrumental in providing the federation with a new transporter and at present every pannier is being refurbished .A BIG WELL DONE

Got introduced to racing pigeons through the family visiting my late uncle who raced them when i was a schoolboy,and i caught the bug been hooked ever since ,love the buzz of pairing breeding and racing them ,the beauty of this hobby is you can take advice from others or just do your own thing ,get as excited on a race day as i did near on forty years ago the highs do compensate for the lows ,feeding time at this time of year even the weary ones are my best friends . the social side during the winter months are always a highlight to look forward to meeting new friends from all walks of life from millionaires to working class joe bloggs like myself ,all in all a wonderful sport

I used a tubular heater in a small stock loft last year it certainly made it more comfortable for myself saying that i did have an excellent hatch and did not loose any youngsters,don't think i will pair stock up this year until February at earliest and do as i did last year and not breed of the race team as they raced very well like that .omo
