While driving down the road with my daughter one day witnessed a peregrine on top of a crow,also asked a shepherd what the peregrine lived on during the winter on the rock face where he farmed and he said if they cant get what they fancy they just eat the crows,and i have also found there remains at nest sites along with lapwings seagulls etc,basically they eat anything when hungry,bit like some on this site

After the young are 7 days old ,feed the parents morning noon and night as much as they want but never leave any lying about after 15 minutes find if they dont get to much they eat everything all the time.As the young start eating with the parents feed them 100% maples in there boxes before they get there mixture,any that show weakness are removed .
