Just a thought I was thinking about last night, as the first few races are only 50-80 mile so even maybe basket the pigeons on the morning of the race, say pick up collections start from 9 and get there for a midday lib, if that could be a idea for youngsters instead of being in baskets overnight for such short races

i took the birds tae crimbo race and it was a good day weather fine all the way home you mite want tae chuck your birds away but i dont canny take chances its all bout giving the birds best chance tae make it home on the day and sunday not looking good for that imo

Doesnt look good for Saturday either George .and we've had terrible racing from there .and the Fed voted to stay away from that area .so moving to there wouldn't happen .

its not the quamlms its the way we go about it everyone and there options influence others as to when we race what day we race should basket on a Friday take our chance at race point then if its hold over then so be it more experience for the birds as we now there well looked after we train get birds ready for a Saturday been like that for years guys work all week like get doos away Friday night race Saturday or hold over what ever it is then injoy time with family or mates chill out on a Sunday but now yer full weekend .*expletive removed* basseting waiting on transporter not in till 10 at sat night then waiting half day Sunday see when birds are up then 3 hours up club doing results weekend total wasted not for me might be last season if its going be like this to many people with to much to say should be in house with then management and committee they have the say jmo who gives a .*expletive removed*
