Timed in at 06.34 Sunday.

3 year old hen is a bundle of feathers.

She was on the ground trying to get moisture from the grass.

I put a dogs bowl down for her and she came right over for a drink.

I then had to guide into the loft door as she could not get up.

On inspection she is bashed in her left side, blood is congealed on her legs and rings.

Clearly doos are struggling to find water coming home from these channel races.
