Gorebridge Open Show

21st October 2017

To be held at St Matthews Chapel Hall Carnethie Street Rosewell Eh24 9AN

 

Classes for both Racers and Showbirds

 

I will put up Schedule as soon as they have been printed

 

Bar will be open as well as tea, coffee, rolls and pies being served

 

There will also be a selection of 2018 youngsters for sale

Racers

1) Channel Cock or Hen * must be flown 2016/2017

2) 200 Mile Cock or Hen * must be flown 2016/2017

3) Old Cock Handling

4) Old Hen Handling

5) Old Cock Through Wires

6) Old Hen Through Wires

7) Young Cock Handling

8) Young Hen Handling

13)Late bred Cock or Hen handled * bird must carry a minimum of 1 nest flight on each wing *

Entry fee is £1 per pigeon

Show is run under Shu Rules

Breeder/buyer sale for best performance in 2018 from one of the youngsters bought from sale

There have been a few enquiries from fanciers asking what judge is judging what class. The show committee will select at random (name from hat) each judge for each class. This will be done morning of show

i am sure Carrie said it was the only time the hall was available to them . so they were a bit stuck . however i hear there are a good number entries , wish them best of luck with the show.
