gulkie Posted January 16, 2017 Report Posted January 16, 2017 Old race hens out 1st since end of September hen sparrow hawkKilled one on top of next doors garage got it of roof as I was returning To my own garden my wife shouted it's got another one ,it got away So result 3year hen dead 4year and 2 x 2 year olds missing at darkO'clock .barstewards .

gulkie Posted January 17, 2017 Author Report Posted January 17, 2017 Incredible came in from doo club 9-20 pm last night and one of the 2 year olds Was sitting on the drive way couple of marks under the wings and the neck and Got the other 2 year old at 9-45 am hawk hasn't returned yet ,with a bit of luck itsGot bird flu ?

greenbar Posted February 1, 2017 Report Posted February 1, 2017 Another 2 dead,one yesterday,one today.sit out the back,nothing happens,min u turn your back bang.even found two woodpigeons,whilst trying to find one of ours today,under the hedges at the back of the loft so have decided this the last season.if we manage to get them trained.already have some one to take our whites and Grizzles,raptors will take most of the rest.
Rolldowns54 Posted February 2, 2017 Report Posted February 2, 2017 Its most likely a hen sparrowhawk it most likely does the rounds everyday looking for a chance if it kills one leave it where it is and wait they usualy come back you might have to tell it off
