So, decides for various reasons to move loft from south end of garden to north end, but it still faces south. Was going to take it to bits and rebuild on new base. No. 1 son says nah, do it like the Egyptians, in one piece with rollers and wood track. So Saturday me ,he and the boss start by just trying to rotate it through 90 degrees to run it across garden. expletive remove it took us all day to get it turn by ,manual labour. We all collapsed that evening, not even able to stand up and in bed by 20.30 hours.

Today I think, sod that, took down my garden fence and got the loft hitch up with rope and candle wax and string.

Any way we hauled it across garden and got it on new base by 17.00 with birds fed and watered.

We all agreed we ain't never doing that sort of s### again.

Sod the Egyptians they can keep their heaving heavy rocks to build pyramids. Lol

But the birds enjoyed the ride.
