To DKJ the SNRPC uses whatever vehicle is appropriate to the number of crates as far as drinkers are concerned each crate has two internal drinkers as well as the external drinker which is on the longest. Side of the crate not the shortest. If you are looking for an opinion on any difference on transportation why not ask the North of Scotland fed they have changed in the past couple of years

im happy with wicker basket,s and shaven,s, and do alright with them, but out of ancenis we go win the mnfc Geraldy and do all right there also,

but the most important thing is having the doo,s right no matter what transporter u use, ( some folk looking for excuses, ) and blaming everthing bar them self

the transporter is not that important, as long as the race controller,s get it right,

but thats just what i think, either way i race with both, but my pick is wicker basket,s and shaven,s,

hope some of the north of scotland men give there thought,s

That is why I asked the question if their racing had improved. I think you will find it has not. They had to cancel their longest inland race this year. I also prefer wicker baskets and shavings. If I was given concrete proof that Geraldy was better I might change my opinion. The main cause of bad races is weather conditions. Snrpc at Troyes last year had 8/83 in race time. Ancenis SNFC last week with MNFC was a good race because the weather at liberation and line of flight was good. BOP are another factor but not when there are the losses we experienced at Littlehampton & Reims

think the geraldy crates are better for the birds feeding and drinking if the wicker baskets could be made with a full length drinker with access the full length for birds tae feed and drink .i would choose wicker first :animatedpigeons:
