how long can eggs be stored so they are still viable before the are incubated,my stock birds are around a week apart from the first egg layed to the last layed, what i am doing is replacing the eggs as they are layed with pot eggs and givr them all back when they all layed so they all hatch within a day or 2 of each other rather than 7 to 9 days apart.

be careful as if you are using pot eggs you are asking the first birds to potentially incubate for 25 days, highly possible they may leave the eggs after 21-22 days

correct paul would be a shame to go through all that bother then the birds get off them 3 days max for me as for storing them anything up to three months but the longer you store them the less hatch out best results is up to three weeks for 100 percent hatch if turned every other day and wiped with a damp cloth once a week to keep moist and kept at room temp
