REDCHEQHEN Posted May 13, 2016 Report Posted May 13, 2016 Simple question really How does your organisation feed your birds on a holdover?
andy Burgess Posted May 13, 2016 Report Posted May 13, 2016 no longer have "hold overs" ? used to have them back in Wales , all down to finer management . they were given V-L best all round then.

Given where? People seem surprised birds are ill - when the corn is tipped into the panniers on top of the sh*te they've parted with There appears to be no other way to feed them

REDCHEQHEN Posted May 14, 2016 Author Report Posted May 14, 2016 We don't have holdovers. You have longer races where the birds are in the basket more than one night - how are they fed?
Kyleakin Lofts Posted May 14, 2016 Report Posted May 14, 2016 You have longer races where the birds are in the basket more than one night - how are they fed? On these occasions we go with NRCC. They feed in troughs through the centre of the crates. Our set-up is similar to what Andy described. We have water available in troughs on both long sides of the crates. If we had a holdover, the pigeons would be fed by this method also.
Ian McKay Posted May 14, 2016 Report Posted May 14, 2016 Most won't answer cause as you say it's thrown on to the sheit but the chips are clean we live in ignorance and blindly blame someone else that's the way it has always been so it must be right :emoticon-0179-headbang: :emoticon-0179-headbang:
