Nest Building !

When do they think enough is enough, only managed one hatched from this pair and it fell out and died , all eggs fall off , stupid or what .

Have you tried no nest bowl for this pair as it might reduce the height of the nest ?

His last nest was on floor almost a foot tall then it toppled , he,s on open hole /bowl so not supplied with material.

Have the same problem and have replaced a youngster a dozen times back where its supposed to be so what can we do as you want to encourage them to build. LOL

Had one... a stated earlier, where the birds struggled to sit on top ... Just enough room lol.

Problem was when a few days old one slipped down and off... Died from old and starvation. They just didn't see it on floor at the side.

Unless it was kicked out. Nest mate fine and dandy.
