Kacy has had one drain removed apart from all the other trappings , dressings on wound and wires going everywhere she 's looking a lot better ......

Small setback today Kacy's lungs partially collapsed but apart from that she seems to be holding her own .

myself my wife children grandchildren and great grandchildren all thank you all for your support and well wishes through this traumatic time It has been much appreciated .....

Glad she is home. I expect you will have future visits to Yorkhill. My nephew was a regular for years. He has scars going across his chest since this was the early way of opening up. He has scars going vertically because that was the new way. He now has a plastic valve fitted, but may be due back in for a replacement, I don't know the timescale on these things.

Kacy's stint this time was unplanned, if she has to go in future, it will be planned. It won't make it less worrying for you as a family, but at least you know she will be stronger and more healthy by that time.
